Join us for three hours of Uninstructed Figure Painting. Each attendee is provided an easel, stool with a back, disposable palette, Gamsol (odorless thinner) and a small table for supplies. Sessions run three hours. You must purchase a spot before attending.
Students should bring their own oil-paint, brushes, and canvas (no larger than 30 inches in any direction). Odorless mineral spirits and jars are provided. No turpentine mediums besides linseed oil are allowed.
REGISTRATION IS FOR ONE THREE HOUR SESSION. You may register for more than one session.
Poses continue throughout Saturday and Sunday Open Studio session on any given weekend. This means the model will hold a single pose for Saturday AM and PM as well as Sunday AM and PM. WE’LL HAVE ONE POSE WITH ONE MODEL THE ENTIRE WEEKEND.
Painting should be taken by attendees at the end of the session. Exceptions apply for those enrolling in sessions spanning more than one day (i.e. full weekend or monthly).
There is never any photography allowed while models are posing. Headsets are okay for music so long as the volume is low enough not to be heard by others. Classical music is typically played at low levels during sessions.
For everyone’s safety, our room is monitored by a video camera. By signing up for sessions you are agreeing to and accept this arrangement.
