The Morgan Library & Museum: Sketching in The Galleries

I had a great time leading the Sketching in Galleries session at The Morgan Library and Museum this weekend. 17 participants joined and created an amazing amount of artwork.

Join us next time by visiting our calendar of events here.

Spend two hours sketching, drawing inspiration from the works in the Morgan’s current exhibitions. Simon Levenson, Artist and National Arts Club instructor, will be available to assist you.

This program is limited to 12 people on a first come, first served basis.

Stools, boards, a selection of pencils, and drawing paper will be provided. While personal sketchbooks are allowed, ink, paint, markers, charcoal, chalk, pastels, folding stools, and easels are not permitted in the galleries.

Free with museum admission.

Teacher-led instructions. All supplies are included. Lunchtime and after work sessions available.

Let us know how many people you expect to attend, the month you would like to work together and any other details you would like us to consider. This drawing New York group is for people of all levels who want to begin drawing, return to drawing or simply improve their drawing skills.
